Founded in 1976, Valspec is a pioneer in distribution in Quebec. Located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, this major presenter is the main player in the development and influence of creators from all disciplines of the performing arts on the territory of western Montérégie made up of the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges , Beauharnois‐Salaberry, Haut‐Saint‐Laurent, Roussillon and Jardins‐de‐Napierville.
Its main mandate is to contribute to the enrichment of the community through sustained, varied and multidisciplinary cultural animation and dissemination. Valspec works to develop practices, disciplines and audiences through the intervention of a diversified performance program, hosting artists in residence and developing original awareness activities.
