The Residual Materials Board of Lac-Saint-Jean (RMR) is an intermunicipal organization that manages all residual materials in the 36 municipalities of Lac-Saint-Jean and Mashteuiatsh. Created in 2008, the role of the RMR is to manage and operate all the sites where residual materials are transported as well as the collection. In terms of its infrastructure, we find in particular the Hébertville-Station technical landfill, three transfer centres, a sorting centre, two composting centres, seven ecocentres and a waste sludge treatment site.
