Le Verger Nicolet is a family business specializing in the production and marketing of apples without forgetting the very high traffic of self-picking and educational visits in season. Sales of apples and by-products are offered to our customers throughout the year.
Le Verger Nicolet wants to be ecological and wants to protect the environment and the health of consumers. We now have more than 10,000 apple trees and 10,000 blueberry plants in production, grown on 95 acres of land. The cultivated areas are surrounded by two hundred acres of woodland.
In 2004, the orchard was surrounded by an 8′ high fence to protect itself from the greediness of deer.
In 2017 we added 1700 early plants and 1700 late plants. We will thus be able to offer our customers blueberries throughout the month of September if the weather is mild.
In 2018 improvement works and renovations are carried out in the shop and the factory. The work in the shop will provide a better configuration for welcoming customers. In addition, the apple packing machine has been restored and a new machine has been put into operation for packing blueberries.
