Saint-André is a small municipality located east of Madawaska. Unlike the other parishes in the Madawaska region along the St. John River, the municipality of Saint-André is located inland. It is characterized by its many valleys and hills. To the south-east, the municipality is bounded by the "Small-River". On the other side of the river is Drummond parish in the Victoria county. To the south, the limit is Grand Falls where the railway line divides. To the northwest, the limit is Bourgoin Road and the parish of Saint-Léonard-Parent. Saint-André also bounds Saint-Quentin in the Restigouche county.
