Incorporated in 2006, Beaubassin-est has a population of 6,376 inhabitants, mostly of Acadian descent, over an area of 291 km2. We were one of the first communities in the province of New Brunswick to come together as a rural community and today we are one of the largest local governance entities in the southeastern part of the province.
